Joan Harned

Joan has lived in Eagle County since the early 70s and has been selling real estate with Black Bear Real Estate Co., predecessor of Keller Williams Mountain Properties, since 1986. Joan was selected as the 1998 Vail Board of Realtors “Realtor of the Year,” served on the Vail Board of Realtors as a Director for six years and was Chairman of the Vail Board of Realtors for 2003-2004. Joan also was appointed by Governor Owens to be a Director on the Great Outdoors Colorado Trust Fund Board (GOCO) and served there for 4 years. In 2004, Joan and Tom Harned helped bring the first Keller Williams franchise to Eagle County. They continue to be owners and run Team Black Bear as a Mega Agent office within the franchise. Joan is also a qualified member of KW Luxury Division and KW Land Division, member of the Real Estate Land Institute (RLI), qualified as a Certified Residential Specialist (RRS), to name a few other designations she has acquired over the years. Joan's people skills were developed after she graduated from UC at Santa Barbara, and took a job as a flight attendant for a major airline for 20+ years, where she traveled the world and honed her people accommodation abilities. Her love of real estate has led her to acquiring her Florida real estate license and opening a KW Destin/Emerald Coast office in 2022 in addition to Team Black Bear's office in Colorado
