Record-Setting Year For Eagle County Real Estate

Land Title has announced that 2021 was a record-setting year for Eagle County real estate!  

"Eagle County set an all-time record in 2021 with $4,282,364,721 in total dollar volume over 2,795 sales, which surpassed the previous record from last year by nearly $800M. The overall average price of real estate reached a staggering $1,551,966 and a median price of $825,000, both are record highs".

This announcement is of course a double edged sword.  Yes, we are all glad that our Valley is such a desirable place to live and recreate, and that our economy is doing so well.  However,  if you are in the market to buy a first home or even a second home, the numbers can seem daunting.
